Congratulations to Kim Koustrup Pedersen on four decades of dedication, technical expertise and commitment to ITW GSE
ITW GSE just celebrated an impressive milestone as Kim Koustrup Pedersen marked his 40-year anniversary with the company.
Kim joined the company in 1986, when it was still known as Axel Åkerman, starting his career in the testing department. Since then, he has held several different roles across the organization, combining strong technical knowledge with a thorough understanding of customer needs.
From testing to international sales and project management
In 2007, Kim became responsible for sales in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. He later took on the role of Project Manager, contributing to major international projects, including projects in Saudi Arabia.
In 2017, Kim became Product Manager for ITW GSE Ground Power Units (GPUs), supporting the continued development of solutions that provide power to parked aircraft at airports around the world.
Over the past two years, Kim has continued to support the international ITW GSE organization with his extensive experience and product knowledge. He has also contributed to ensuring that ITW GSE product manuals meet international standards.
Technical expertise – and a great sense of humor
Four decades with the same company tell a story of commitment, experience, and continuous development. But colleagues and customers know Kim for more than his technical expertise.
Throughout the years, he has also become well known for his great sense of humor and his ability to create a positive atmosphere around him. One memorable example came at a company Christmas party, when Kim took to the stage with an air guitar performance to Danish musician Kim Larsen – soon getting the entire room to sing along.
Kim’s 40-year anniversary is yet another example of the experience and dedication that have helped shape ITW GSE over the years.
