ITW GSE Supports Soccer Shirt Friday – Fighting Childhood Cancer Together

March 7, 2025, marks the annual #FodboldtrøjeFredag (Soccer Shirt Friday)—a nationwide initiative in Denmark dedicated to supporting children battling cancer. This heartfelt campaign unites individuals, football enthusiasts, clubs, associations, and businesses in a collective effort to make a difference for these children and their families.

At ITW GSE, we are committed to corporate social responsibility and proud to take part in #FodboldtrøjeFredag. Our team has donned their football jerseys, made contributions, and is actively sharing our support on social media. We believe that by coming together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of children affected by cancer.

Why It Matters

Every other day, a child in Denmark is diagnosed with cancer – approximately 200 children annually – who then face prolonged and intensive treatments. This journey leaves lasting marks, not just physically but also emotionally, for the entire family. Recognizing this profound impact, #FodboldtrøjeFredag was established to harness the power of community and solidarity in supporting these young fighters.

How You Can Support

Taking part in Soccer Shirt Friday is simple yet powerful:

Donate – Contribute a voluntary amount via MobilePay 201717. Every donation directly supports the Danish Children’s Cancer Foundation (Børnecancerfonden), funding research and providing assistance to affected families.

Dress – Wear your favorite football jersey today, March 7, 2025, to show your support and raise awareness.

Share – Post a selfie in your jersey on social media using the hashtag #FodboldtrøjeFredag to spread the word and inspire others to join the cause.

A Growing Movement

Since its inception in 2019, #FodboldtrøjeFredag has raised over 15 million DKK for the Danish Children’s Cancer Foundation. This collective effort has significantly strengthened research and support initiatives, bringing hope and relief to countless families.

We encourage everyone to take part in this meaningful cause. Together, let’s show that when football hearts beat as one, we can make a real difference.
