Watch Senior Sales Manager, Jose Manuel De Las Heras reveal our new charging solutions.
Some airports lack eGSE charging possibilities due to grid limitations, but most electric GPUs have excess electrical capacity at the input due to many aircraft not drawing a full load. The Power Share lets you use that excess power from the grid without having to upgrade the gate infrastrucutre as it distributes the power efficiently to your eGPU or other charging applications. Combining an ITW GSE 2400 GPU with a Power Share allows more 50/60Hz AC equipment to be charged even when the GPU is supplying 400Hz power to the aircraft.
The eGPUs now have the option of an AC Type two inlet that eases the charging in the cases where airports already have installed AC wall chargers incl. cables. Soon, a CCS2 DC inlet will also be an option to the 7400 eGPU.
The latest addidion of charging solutions is the DC Charger which lets you charge your high voltage eGSE. It has two outlets of 60 kW (CCS2) and can be connected to an ITW GSE 2400 GPU, which will control how much power the charger has available. This means that you do not have to upgrade your existing infrastructure.
