Fraport goes green on ground

Fraport goes green on ground – really green!

Today Fraport visited the ITW GSE production facilities in Denmark to witness the Factory Acceptance Test of their 4 new ITW GSE 7400 eGPUs. And they were really happy about the final product for which they foresee a bright future.
The eGPU can be charged  outside peak hours – and re-deliver the power when the airport’s infrastructure is challenged. A benefit that can prove to be a valuable asset.

To clearly demonstrate Fraport’s intentions to be among the greenest and most environmentally friendly airports in Europe, the airport have ordered the eGPUs painted in a fresh, grass green colour.

With the 4 new eGPUs Fraport is now able to grow their capacity without discharging more CO2. Besides a cleaner environment, the eGPU also provides a far better working environment since it is practially silent (compared to conventional diesel GPUs).
