Silke Frøtorp

Business Administration

For three months, Silke Frøtorp has been our intern in the Support Team, and this is actually her second internship by us!

This second internship gives her a more strategic insight into how a spare part stock is constructed across departments including the needed IT systems to handling the daily operations of such a parts stock.
Besides the spare part project, Silke also assists our HR department by working on an on-boarding process.

Her first internship started in August 2024 and lasted for 8 months, and it focused on order handling of spare parts for customers around the world.

Alongside working with colleagues from different departments, Silke has also actively taken part in the social activities in the company, and latest she joined the creative clay painting event and she also ran the 5km at the DHL Relay this very summer!

Josie Pitzen

Mechanical Engineering

During her 2-months internship, Josie made a valuable contribution to both our production documentation and engineering development work.

After spending time alongside the production team, she completed more than 100 pages of detailed work instructions for the ITW GSE 3500 PCA 150V production line. This gave her first-hand insight into how the units are produced while helping ensure that the individual processes were clearly documented.

Josie then took on a mechanical engineering project to develop a prototype for testing the durability of wires, cables, and hoses. She designed the CAD parts and assemblies, created the wiring diagrams and code, and produced the components using 3D printing. Her work resulted in a fully functioning prototype that can support the future development of a larger-scale testing solution.

To complete the project, Josie also prepared detailed documentation covering the prototype’s design, materials, procedures, and recommendations for further development.

Katherine Argo

Mechanical Engineering

Katie is a mechanical engineer student, and she has been working on expanding the air flow from our PCA and has come to a good solution.

Katie has found it interesting to experience another work culture than the American one she is used to, and she is proud to have completed the task as it is the largest scale work project she has ever done. She even had the energy to work on two other projects at the same time.

Besides that, she also completed the bike cycling race ‘Tour de Storebælt’ and travelled to visit many of the European capitals, well done to that too!

Fast forward to 2025; Katie is now employed at ITW GSE in the R&D department!

Jules Niel

Mechanical Engineering

As a mechanical engineer student, Jules has been working on a skid mounted proto type for our 90 kVA eGPU in relation to a client’s specific request.

Jules is impressed of how differently work is carried out in Denmark compared to France, and he is happy to have visited many places in Denmark during his stay.
