Houchin 4400 GPU with Royal Air Force One (BAe-146)

The Houchin 4400 GPU recently powered the Royal Air Force One (BAe-146) when the UK Prime Minister Mr. Cameron came to Prague for a one day visit.

The ITW GSE 4400 has a compact design, full-size performance, which allows better mobility around aircraft and is easily handled says GSE Manager Roman Spilka from Czech Airline Handling. He likes that the new polyethylene canopy is corrosion free and less heavy compared to steel canopies of other GPUs. And that the GPU is fuel efficient as it uses approximately 20% less of fuel compared to the existing fleet of engine drive GPUs. He also fancies the new control system gives full information about the errors and its performance.
