Power To Lyon Airport

To ensure a smooth 400 Hz supply to all stands, Lyon airport will soon replace their 5 semi-centralized systems by 20 pcs of 90 kVA ITW GSE 2400 GPUs. The new 400 Hz units, equipped with the Plug&Play feature that automatically regulates the voltage at the aircraft plug, will be placed close to the point-of-use.

During the factory test that took place in the presence of M. Gilles Robert, M. Julien Castaldi and M. Paul Enri Flesch from Lyon Airport, the ISO 6858 requirements with regard to balanced and unbalanced loads were verified and proved.

For many years, Lyon Airport has been a loyal customer and today, the airport has more than 50 pcs of 400 Hz GPUs from ITW plus a number of 28 VDC units as well.

Congratulations to the airport with their choice of the One Converter – One Plug concept for the semi-centralized stands. We hope that the steady supply leave you time to do other jobs.
