Kuwait Airways has operated AXA GPUs since the 1990ies! Therefore, it was with great pleasure that we received Eng. Ali Al Mazidi; Senior Expert Construction & Maintenance and Rocky Dsouza; Facility Management Engineer for the Factory Acceptance Test of 8 pcs of the AXA 2400 90kVA GPUs earlier this week. The units will be used in Kuwait Airway’s maintenance hangar that will for instance accommodate the A350 in a near future.
The compatibility with the A350, the facts that the AXA 2400 GPUs are of the latest technology which also includes a unique voltage at output due to the Plug & Play system + that the 2400 units are compact and easy to maintain are some of the reasons why Kuwait Airways chose the AXA 2400 GPUs. During the visit, Mr. Al Mazidi and Mr. Dsouza also had the opportunity to get a thorough introduction to the AXA Power Coil and the AXA Power PCA that would be ideal products for the future development of Kuwait Int’l Airport.
