The familiar features of the 3400 PCA along additional new features are now available in the 3500 PCA.
The modular design is the hallmark of ITW GSE and ensures exceptional efficiency and reliability in point-of-use PCAs.
Even with one module inactive, the 3400 PCA continues providing cooled air thus resulting in minimal downtime, avoiding delays and keeping aircraft turn-arounds on schedule.
The 3400 design uses variable frequency drive technology that gives easy, stepless regulation of the discharge temperature. Therefore, the ITW GSE 3400 PCA units supply exactly the required amount of cold air and not more. Most PCAs are designed for peak load conditions although these conditions probably only apply for 10-20 days each year, and deliver excess capacity for about 80% of the time, wasting lots of expensive energy and creating undesirable emissions. Another advantage of the stepless regulation is less mechanical stress – which boosts reliability and service life and gives you a better return on investment.
