Limited grid capacity? Put available gate power to work

As airports and ground handlers electrify more Ground Support Equipment, charging capacity can quickly become a challenge. ITW GSE Power Share is designed to help make better use of electrical capacity that is already available at the gate.

Adding dedicated charging infrastructure or increasing the electrical supply may not always be the first or most practical option. At the same time, the power already installed at the gate is not necessarily being used at full capacity throughout the entire aircraft turnaround.

That is where ITW GSE Power Share comes in.

Share available power – while keeping the aircraft first

Power Share makes excess gate power available to other electrical equipment while ensuring that the primary aircraft-related demand from GPUs or PCAs remains the priority.

When capacity is available, that power can be used for secondary equipment, including charging eGPUs and other electric Ground Support Equipment. If aircraft-related demand increases, Power Share adjusts accordingly.

The principle is simple: prioritize the aircraft and use of the remaining power smarter.

This creates additional charging opportunities at or close to the point of operation, helping airports and ground handlers make better use of existing electrical infrastructure.
